The Sailing Ship RIM Nativa, Port of Davao, Philippines Wednesday, November 12, 8:10 PM. I stopped along the roadside to buy fruit today. I did so because I am hungry for it and Juli and I need it and I had enough money in my pocket to make the purchase. And the purchase of luscious fruit here doesnt break the bank, so considering myself able to make the purchase and feeling that we were deserving of such, I gave the money in exchange for the fruit, and happily went on my way, thinking of its taste and its health benefit. And among the fruits to select were my all time favorite and best in the whole world, without argument...bananas! Yes friends...bananas, ripened on the trees and cut just at the right time to be devoured by monkeys of all sorts...and me! And to be sure, I have taste tested the delicious edibles purchased today, right here at this desk tonight. Im even planning ahead to slice some over my cheerios in the morning and bought enough to make pancakes with them by Friday! Oh, if I only had vanilla wafers for the banana pudding.... But alas, one cant have everything! Now, Id like you to try something the next time you eat a banana---slice it thinly and then press the slice in the center. Youll see it divides into three equal parts. Its still one banana but three pieces, all the same. And you can also do it by taking a bite of the banana and pressing it to the roof of your mouth. It will divide three ways, equally. Our God is amazing, you know! And who would have ever thought the lowly banana could demonstrate His divine reality? I hope you know Him, up close and personal.
