The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Taekwondo Association is pleased to announce the outcome of the journey of the National Team. The National Team comprises of 1st Degree Black Belts – Emulas Alexander, Jesse Huggins, Keithron Malcolm and Mikhail Charles who are coached and trained by the President of the SVG Taekwondo Association – Mr Vanburn Harry (3rd Degree Black Belt). The Team left Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on April 1st for Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where they competed in 4 different weight categories (Light Male -74kg: Keithron Malcolm, Welterweight Male -80 kg : Jesse Huggins, Middleweight Male -87kg: Mikhail Charles, Heavyweight Male +87kg: Emulas Alexander), and despite not medaling in their respective events all have managed to qualify for the finals of the CAC (Central American and Caribbean Games) Games to be held in late November 2014 in Mexico.
