The Salafi Fallacy I would say it is a form of implicit Shirk - TopicsExpress

The Salafi Fallacy I would say it is a form of implicit Shirk to say I am going to bypass the tradition. The Salafi fallacy is a form of pharaonic arrogance. This is not a minor error, a minor slip in our understanding of how Islamic education should take place. Its a very fundamental error, a protestant error if you like, the idea that our personal conscious are so refined, so pure, that we can understand the scriptures better than the earlier generations, whole armies of great purified souls. Its an absurdity, its a form of arrogance also a form of backbiting to say that ulama simply got it wrong and that we are going to get it right. This is probably the greatest act of collective backbiting in the history of the ummah (community) that we should be eating the dead flesh of the deceased ulama saying they got it wrong. They were people of Taqlid, they were Asharis, they were Hanafis. or they were whatever and we can get it right. Thats backbiting. - Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad *Please Listen & Share Widely* https://youtube/watch?v=1MRXs5fqlXQ
