The Salem Community and the College Park Community have been blessed for the past 10 days to have shared in the ministry of 17 missionaries from Patillas, Puerto Rico. They have worked in the two communities and, yesterday, in D.C. evangelizing, working at the host churches, and sharing the Love of God and their Love for God. The Mens Chorus brought uplifting music to our services the past two weeks. And, Salem is the recipient of a new sound system that will work better with todays updated technologies, given to us as a gift from the Missionaries. We ask that you keep them in prayer as they will continue to work in His name when they return home. Their flight leaves at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. It is our hope that we will meet with them once again, either in Baltimore or in Puerto Rico! Matthew 28:19 - 20 gives the Great Commission from our Risen Lord....Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. These men and women are living these words. May their ministry be both an encouragement and a challenge to us at Salem.
