The Salvation Army International Headquarters Office of the Chief of the Staff 11 November, 2014 To: All Commissioners, Territorial Commanders and Officers Commanding and retired leaders Following a routine visit to the doctor with a cough, the General has recently undergone a chest x-ray. In the absence of any definitive diagnosis the doctor prescribed an initial course of antibiotics and advised further medical tests. Therefore, the General and Commissioner Silvia Cox have cancelled their planned visit to Africa to permit fuller medical tests to be carried out. Your prayerful support of our General and Commissioner Silvia would be appreciated all the more in these days.
