The Sato Project wishes all of our Amazing Supporters and Volunteers a very Happy New Year! Here is a great update to start off 2015 with a smile! Happy holidays! I just logged into Facebook to see your Sato Smiles video, which brought quite a smile to my face–and reminded me to send you an update! :-) Its been almost 3 months since I brought Barbosa (Bo, for short) home to Brooklyn, and theyve been 3 of the most wonderful months! I can hardly believe how well hes adapted to life in the big city. He walks well on a leash, is happy to say hello to any person or dog, and isnt fazed in the least by the hustle and bustle around him (with the exception of trucks, which he likes to chase, but were working on it). He comes to work with me every day, where he has lots of friends, human and canine alike. Every morning he runs into the office and pays his first visits to the friends he knows will have doggy treats—a smart boy indeed! He is a complete joy to have around—coworkers are always stopping by my desk to say hello. Our big accomplishment of late was graduating from Basic Obedience Class, or puppy kindergarden as we called it. Hes very good at sit and stay, and were getting very close to down. I cant thank you enough for bringing this furry boy into my life—he makes me smile every time I look at him. Thanks for all the amazing work you do! We sing your praises to everyone. Ive attached a few pictures for you, too. Youll see him curled up on my lap at work with his head on my chair arm—thats how he spends most of his day. The purple fuzzy outfit was his halloween costume—he was the cutest little monster in the world! Happy new year, and all the best in 2015! Cheers, Katie
