The Scan results came in for Mitsy McKee. Mitsy now has cancer in her brain and neck. We have met with neurosurgeons, radiologists and our oncology doctor all day long starting at 530am. It was decided that 10 rounds of whole brain radiation is the immediate therapy. This will start tomorrow; Friday. It has been an incredibly tough 24 hours for both of us with a lot of emotion and discussions. But...Mitsy is strong and we are both ready to fight again with God on our side leading the way. I cannot express to you in words the courage I have seen and continue to see in Mitsy. When the four Doctors surrounded the foot of the bed and delivered the results Mitsy sat straight up and listened carefully to what was said and never flinched. She has been poked, tested and questioned at all hours day and night, and Mitsy cooperated with grace. We have a challenge ahead of us with serious consequences and we will face it head on but we need your prayers. We need prayers for healing, shrinking tumors in the brain & neck, peace, doctors skills, strength for Mitsy, and the list goes on. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
