The Scary Guy NOT so Scary afterall! I want to say thank you to the concerned mother who wrote the first letter to the paper Scary Guy friend or Foe? As it is letters like this that draw attention to the growing need in not just our community however society as a whole! That bullying and prejudice exist, that is why we need programs like the Scary Guy to help address issues. I have faith in the school board, and the community that we are supportive and invest in a program such as the Scary Guy. So instead of keeping your children home that day from school, and writing the newspaper and going on the radio, why not come to the program and write a letter afterwards. Myself, as a mother in this community welcome this program, look forward to what the program offers. When we take a proactive approach with an open mind, it really gets away from the sterotyping of small town small mind. I personally invite you to this program and then you can write about it afterwards. Let’s ask Scary Guy the questions you seek answers to instead of just googling information that may or may not be true. Hope to see you there!
