The Scots dont want to be different It is so odd to think that I used to even consider that Scots wanted to be different from the rest of Britain but I just dont think they do culturally or linguistically. Indeed what seems to be the case is that they wish to put on a costume for a day or two and then put it back into their cupboards the following morning and resume their day as before. A piece of coloured cloth is all that is needed and Bobs your uncle. Few people it seems cares for either Scots or Gaelic among those who are politically active as they look upon such differences as too far out from their own lifestyles. So much for being different other than to say Im proud Im not English which you see on Facebook all the time.
