The Scripture of the Day is: Luke 19:38 Saying, Blessed be - TopicsExpress

The Scripture of the Day is: Luke 19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. How happy they all must have been, on that day, as He rode into Jerusalem; and all the people rejoiced and hailed Him. In their hearts they were sure He was their King; and they were right. But, not the way that they were anticipating that day. They wanted Him to end Roman rule and set them free. He had something better in store for them; He was about saving their souls and giving them the opportunity for eternal life. It is the same with you and I in the days we are living; we seek Him for a need, want or desire, and things don’t seem to be coming together the way we have planned. What was true for them is true for us; don’t look for the moment, look for the eternal. I prayed for a certain job; He gave me a better one. I prayed for a certain vehicle; He gave me a better one. I prayed to purchase a certain house; He gave me a better one. If He doesn’t answer your prayer the way you think He should; wait and you will see what He will do. He can do exceedingly abundantly above anything that you or I can imagine; don’t limit Him; just submit and ask for His will. He will never fail you; and He will be with you all the way until the end. Trust Him, lean on Him; and know that He will bless you and keep you. Don’t be sad or allow the enemy to take your hope. Realize that He holds this world in His hands and nothing is impossible with Him. Our God is Mighty! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Mighty God we come today thanking you for your great love and goodness toward us; there is no one that can compare to you. We trust you; and submit our way to you this day. You know us better than we know ourselves; help us to draw closer and closer to you. Grant us understaning and wisdom; and help us walk in the right direction; and help us to daily crucify the flesh in our lives and overcome the plots of the enemy. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil. Your will be done. We ask these things in the name of your Son, Jesus, AMEN. P.S. In these last days that we are living we need to get as much of the word as possible. If any of you have a ladies group at your church or Bible study that you would like to have a guest speaker, I would be anxious in the Lord to come and speak for you.
