The Sea or the Land: If the Desert is the Gangstas Paradise? What about the Sea? Is it any safer? Not really. Whereas the land is teaming with Wolves, The Ocean is filled with sharks. It is not any safer. Jonas was swallowed by a fish, as Gepetto was swallowed by Monstro in Pinocchio, but the Sea is where one will find fish, and the opportunity to catch them Jesus said: Come with me, and I will make you fishers of men The Sea is the Hunting ground for souls But dry ground was produced in the Story of Moses, for Israel to cross safely into the promised land. This Dry land was a parting of the Sea, A Way made for safe cross over. What was this Way I am the Way, The Truth and the Life, No one comes to the father, but by me-Jesus The parting of the Red sea, was the Dividing of the Sheep from the Goats, it was the Way being made, which the Forerunner of the Word of God is sent for. That Forerunner as we learned in Emblems of a Season of Fury is Solitude, For Solitude is the Angel sent to prepare the way for Jesus. The Dry land therefore is Solitude, and it is in Solitude that Israel crosses into the Promised Land.
