The Secret Files is a mountain of trash but with a few nuggets of wisdom. This post is addressed to those - students, alumni and Professors alike - who automatically make a blanket conclusion that this forum is puro reklamo and full of whiners. It is but part of the internet where the rule of caveat emptor applies. The fact that these critics continue to read this forum betrays their ostensible disdain for the same. In its short life, this forum has prompted the LSG to respond to and address substantial issues like the proposed tuition fee increase, something that the LSGHotline page alone could not have accomplished. It has caused a Professor to belatedly realize that gifts from his students are not always acts of pure liberality, and to resolve not to receive gifts from students, in accord with true principles of legal and judicial ethics. We commend him and support his promised reforms. We are still in our infancy stage, but it is our hope and prayer that this forum will evolve into a civilized market of ideas where we debate vigorously but respectfully.
