The Semi-Annual Canby Tack Sale is next weekend, Saturday, October 18. Sale hours are 8 am - 1:30 pm at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby. We will accept donations and consignments on items related to horses including (but not limited to) tack, equipment, clothing, artwork and accessories. Dont overlook including Books and DVDs! The club will charge a 15% sales commission on all items. This year we will also charge a $25 consignment fee (non-refundable) on all saddles. Members may consign one saddle at no additional consignment fee. On all consignments we request the following: 1. Clean all items. Clean items in good repair sell better. 2. Tag your items with description, size, color and price. 3. Make a list of all tagged items. Include your name, address and phone number. It would also be helpful to know which items have a negotiable price (and what you will accept) just in case we cant contact you on the day of the sale. 4. All tagged items need an identifying mark and number corresponding with the same mark and number on your list. Sample: Last name Smith. Identify with the first two letters of the last name and a number SM1 Western red saddle pad, SM2 Blue 76 lined stable blanket. If you drop off your items in tubs or containers to be returned, please mark the containers with your name. Funds will be mailed to consignors after the sale. We do not need a list of items being donated to the club for this sale. Donated items are pure profit for the club and are greatly appreciated. We will have a work party at Kaye Phaneufs on Friday, October 17, to organize the items. All items need to be either picked up or delivered to one of the following members prior to the 17th.
