The Senate (Upper House) and the National Assembly ( Lower House) - TopicsExpress

The Senate (Upper House) and the National Assembly ( Lower House) are at logger heads over superiority matters and the devolution quest. The constitution is very clear that the Senate is mandated with policy making which will govern the county government and therein managing devolution matters whereas, the National Assembly will be mandated to debated those bills, ammend or approve them as they are and send them back to the Upper House for final ratification before the bill is forwarded to the President for signing into law. Now,since I shall be joining the Senate very soon,I am strongly inclined to believe that this impasse needs to be resolved ASAP and The National Assembly needs to accept and take its place in public and adhere to what was passed by 40million Kenyans in the constitution. Kenyans voted you in to provide service and facilitate devolution but not spend hours holding press conferences on power struggles. Wanjiku! Mueni,Mbithe,Akinyi,Ole-Seriyani e.t.c are waiting for service not quarrels...
