The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office would like to welcome Mark Richardson and his K-9 partner Ranger to our patrol division. Mark retired from Louisville Metro Police Department and brings over 20 years of law enforcement experience to our department. Mark also is a K-9 handler and will be serving as the department’s first K-9 unit. Ranger is a non-aggressive Lab that is trained to sniff out illegal narcotics. If you see Mark and Ranger, be sure to welcome them to Shelby County!
