The Shelter Staff is deeply saddend today at the loss of our office cat, Helen. She passed peacefully in her sleep yesterday, we are unsure of her accurate age but guessed her to be almost 20. Many of you have probably seen Helen if youve visited us. Helen was blind and deaf and resided behind our desk. Being blind and deaf, Helen still knew when her friends were around and meowed (rather loudly) for her treats. We will miss our dear gal but know she is running painfree over the Bridge where she can now see and hear all the things she hasnt been able to for a long time.
