The Sheriffs Office said the 13-year-old girl was walking her dog when her neighbor’s pit bull attacked the dog on Lake Floy Circle Friday morning. The girl was injured when she tried to break up the fight, deputies said. While the Sheriffs Office called the dog a pit bull, animals experts told WESH 2 the dog was a bully breed. She was screaming, asking for help. She was very bloody, said a neighbor who tried to pry the pit bull off the girl and wound up being bitten. The girl was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital with minor injuries to her hand, deputies said. The girl’s dog was taken to a veterinarian’s office with serious injuries. See More :
