The Shire of Toodyay will be entering the RESTRICTED BURNING - TopicsExpress

The Shire of Toodyay will be entering the RESTRICTED BURNING season on the 9th of March through until the 30th of April 2014 (unless extended). Permits to burn for the next few weeks ( no date has been set) will only be written out by the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer and no other FCO within the Shire of Toodyay. Permits to burn at this stage will come with heavy restrictions and only for farmers conducting stubble burns for crop preparation. This Restricted Season for 2014 is extremely dry, due to this current risk there will be maximum infringements or prosecution to anyone who does not strictly comply with the conditions set out on the permit, especially no burning of any timber during this dry period! All FCO’s are to refer the request from people to the Chief Bushfire Control Officer until otherwise informed by the CESM or the Chief himself. CBFCO Murray McBride Ph. 0448 284 258 Thanks very much and safe burning!!
