The Shondells, who recorded with Tommy James, recorded a song - TopicsExpress

The Shondells, who recorded with Tommy James, recorded a song called Crystal Blue Persuasion. Tommy James was becoming a Christian at the time that he wrote that song, and hes said in an interview that the song was based on Revelation 19, which refers (he says) to a lake of crystal. The Hondells, on the other hand, were a similarly named band whose most prominent hit song was the 1964 single Little Honda, written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love from the Beach Boys. The Hondells were where Chuck Girard got his start. Chuck Girard started Love Song, the first popular Christian rock band. Interesting what things one can learn when one participates in a Jesus Music site on Facebook . youtu.be/WqKi_9p1zks
