The Shropshire branch of The Motor Neuron Disease Association are holding a Sale in The Square in Shrewsbury on Saturday 16th August. The branch offers support and advice to those people in Shropshire who are affected by Motor Neuron Disease which is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurons or nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This means that the messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND can effect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. The events that The Shropshire Branch organize raise funds for equipment needed by people with MND in the county,equipment that cannot be sourced elsewhere. We urgently need items for the sale so please have a sort out and see if you are able to donate unwanted items to the sale!!! We will also be having a tombola so maybe you are able to contribute a prize !!!
