The Silent Comedy will be playing The Seasons Performance Hall Main Stage on Saturday, 9/13. The Silent Comedy is a San Diego-based group of musicians mixing Americana, Folk and Rock n’ Roll into a sound that is best understood by experiencing their live show. Brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman started the band to capture the feeling of the bar culture they worked in and the revival meetings they grew up attending. The outcome is an experience that has been described as “a whiskey fueled tent revival.” CF Tip: The Silent Comedy wrote and performed the theme songs for History Channel’s Hatfields & McCoys and The Men Who Built America. They recently played The Gorge with Dave Matthews Band Caravan. Although they are from San Diego, the Chinook Fest team first met them in Austin, TX at SXSW three years ago. After trying to book them in 2012 and 2013, we are incredibly happy it worked out this year. chinookfest https://youtube/watch?v=wN8UvmMscgE
