The Silmarillion is truly a work I art, but what book of Tolkien - TopicsExpress

The Silmarillion is truly a work I art, but what book of Tolkien isnt? I literally felt every emotion while reading it wishing, to some extent, that I was there. And this is how I know a book is good. I dont read books to simply pass the time. I read to go on adventures, meet new people, see new places. I think that if an author has been able to have that effect on readers, I say he is successful. And then when you get that feeling in your stomach after you finish a book, where you miss the characters and their adventures. And my favorite thing about Tolkien is that he drew maps of places for his readers. To me, it feels like he wants his readers to join in every detail of his stories. Books are magic, you just have to be brave enough to go on the adventures.
