The Sims 4 to receive content updates in October, November, and December Sims fans have lamented the loss of content from previous games in The Sims 4, but just as we suspected, it looks like some of those features will slowly creep back into the fourth iteration of the life-simulation series as the months pass. On the game’s news blog, executive producer Rachel Franklin revealed that a a series of free updates over the next three months will bring back two favorites: ghosts and pools. Fittingly, the October content includes the return of spectral hauntings to the world of The Sims, with the ghosts exhibiting “special new behaviors based on how they died”—for example, a Sim who perished in a fire might go around spreading fires, while a Sim who got electrocuted might get revenge by shocking the living. The video below outlines the various actions players can have with their new incorporeal housemates. The October update also sees several minor bug fixes and new eye colors, along with the debut of a special Star Wars costume set, which includes Princess Leia (white-robed, hair-buns version), Yoda, Luke Skywalker (X-Wing pilot incarnation), or Darth Vader. Meanwhile, come November, pools finally make their debut in The Sims 4, while the December update will introduce additional career paths and rewards.
