The Sint Maarten Youth Parliament will meet in a public session in the Hall of Parliament at 4:00 pm today, Friday November 21st 2014. We will discuss the Convention Rights of the Child: articles 19, 36, 38 and 39, in keeping with St. Maartens 2014 theme My right to Protection: My freedom from Abuse. We will be joined by a special guest, child rights attorney Manon Eijgenraam. The meeting will be chaired by the Preident Dwayne Patrick Griffith. We will have 4 youth parliamentarians give presentations and they are: Qpurple Keda Shillingford, Danii Maccow, Kethia Henry and Ruthlane Baptiste. The proceedings can be followed on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120 and online at sxmparliament.org .
