The Smokin Joe Randolph Band is proud to announce the addition of well-known blues & soul singer Pat Mother Blues Cohen to their group. Mother Blues has been performing in various parts of the world and has come back to N. Carolina to live. She has traveled to France, Germany, Spain in recent years after surviving Katrina in New Orleans. Ms. Cohen is a people person, and brings her soulful style of singing to pay tribute to the sisters of soul. Audiences seem to love her everywhere she performs. Pat Cohen joins Joe Randolph, Jim Patterson, and Randy Powell in creating a new act that is sure to bring some great entertainment and a great show for festivals, receptions, conventions, private parties in the months to come. Smokin’ Joe Randolph Band Featuring Pat Mother Blues Cohen This group has been well-received since starting to play around the Carolinas. The 4 and sometimes 5 piece group travels most anywhere, travels light, and plays a variety of music with tributes to many soul singers that audiences are sure to recognize. Joe Randolph, the featured guitarist and singer has a wide variety of music in his background. A music graduate from Appalachian State University, Joe has had years of experience on the road. Joe has lived and played in Myrtle Beach, SC, and Nashville, TN in past years. He is also talented and skilled in recording engineering. Other members of the group include Randy Powell, bassist & singer , and Jim Twigs Patterson, on drums and vocals. Most recently, Powell has played beach music for the past few years with the late Billy Scott and the Party Prophets band. Twigs is a well respected drummer in many styles of music. Twigs, is also an alumni of Billy Scotts Party Prophets. The group has worked for some exclusive restaurants and clubs, receptions, reunions, festivals, private parties, and is available for your next event.
