The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe – “Deciding What to Wear Without Ever Having Been Invited to The Party.” Making amendments to constitutions and other governing documents, provide ways in which a tribe might enact changes in membership requirements to support their current decisions about who should be a member. But do not believe for one minute that our enrollment crisis is about ‘What Changes to Make to Our Enrollment Requirements’, because it is not. That my friend is the easiest part. The Real Snoqualmie enrollment crisis is; ‘How do we identify and establish those who are currently legally eligible to discuss, propose and vote those changes as binding Snoqualmie law in perpetuity?’ Something extremely crucial to remember on this Saturday January 10th, 2015 at the GM meeting, if attempting to tamper with our current laws.
