The Solange/Jay Z scuffle is one of the more interesting celebrity scandals. Its sparked engaging and needed conversations about family dynamics, domestic violence, mental health, etc. Its provided a screen onto which people have projected their feelings about these universal issues. Calls to quiet discourse about the fight are a bit silly. Its great when celebrities become a touchstone for something other than empty glamor.
