The Sonoma Academy Arts Departments--Music, Theater, and Visual Arts present original adaptation of THE CANTERBURY TALES - a perambulatory pageant - MAY 16, 17, and 18. This unique production integrates a script--adapted by SA students from Chaucers masterpiece-- with giant pageantry puppets built in SA art classes, as well as music and theater performances developed in our Performance Studio course. One special feature of our performance will be to have you, the audience, join us on a rambling pilgrimage around our beautiful campus, as we regale you with tales of wit, romance, and wisdom. We look forward to sharing this performance with you. So, come join the procession! Bring a picnic blanket and a basket full of bounty for the journey. Wear clothing and shoes for a short hike.
