The Sound Of Silence Have you ever sat and listened to no words ever been spoken Have you ever wondered while sat there sometimes tears a choking Have you been there like I have have you heard that silence too Did mind take over matter did it shatter what you knew Did memories overcome your mind did your voice then disappear Did you search within? if yes Then find that silence! reappear Did it matter then does it matter now? did you even stop to think Or did you shrug it off again was it gone in just a blink Was it really that important Was it it worth the while being hushed Was it gone then in an instant were your thoughts in silence...crushed! Well where or what! I now know nought but to say just what I feel The sound of silence needs no licence, words should be revealed! For deep within your silent mind lie words unspoken... some unkind! But if need be that some should find, some certain words should stay behind Then let their blindness leave them blind, and unto them... their deafness kind Let silence be quashed, take over ails with words awash, let no voice...prevail! So deeper now that silence goes until a time as such, who knows Maybe tomorrow, yesterday or maybe never, come what may Were born with senses five they say silence not one, with words! do play A gift your born with, its your choice stay silent! or choose to use your voice Hev c april12
