The Source of Joy Unspeakable by Bishop Keith A. Butler Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11 Before Adam and Eve sinned, they were filled with the life of God. They had the voice of God and the presence of God. They experienced joy and pleasure in the garden! When an individual gets filled up with the life of God and again attaches himself to God, then he understands that in order for him to succeed he must stay dependent upon God for his daily nourishment. When you are dependent on God, you won’t be sad, bad, and mad and discouraged. You won’t be depressed and self-pitying. The life of God will give you joy unspeakable! It will be a fountain of life springing from God’s Spirit! ** Prayer for Today ------------------------------------------------------------ Father, what a gracious, awesome God you are to have made a way for me to live with your life and your joy!
