The South Georgia Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary recently awarded patches and pins for hours of service at an annual luncheon themed, “Hats Off to Our Volunteers!” Auxiliary members, also known as Pink Ladies and Red Coats, have volunteered more than 17,000 hours over the past six months in various departments at SGMC’s main facility and Smith Northview Campus. They also assisted with fundraisers and community outreach initiatives. Auxiliary members receiving pins for hours of service were: Bob Bauer, Colleen Bradley, David Cunningham, Jim Dawkins, Nick Feurenstein, Kathy Folsom, Melanie Ford, Robert Kelly, Angie Martinez, Khatiga Nasir, Emerida Rodriquez (100 hours); Mirand Robinson, Pearl Wright (200 hours); Cynthia Alford, Jim Bowen, Laura Sherman (300 hours); Barbara McRae, Mattie Miller, Carlo Purefoy, Shirley Saniz (400 hours); Sean Jankowski, Juanita Rodriguez, Ralph Trevisone (500 hours); Sue Mossey, Jan Newton, W.G. Walker (600 hours); Maerita Adams, Inday Bauer, Fay Baxter (700 hours); Woneska Cribb, Nancy Cunningham, Melba Powell, Donna Smith (800 hours); Charles Roberts (900 hours); James Biles, Lee Cornelius, Darl Stanfield (1,000 hours); Dianne Belcher, Bill West (1,500 hours); Ryan Fountain, Barbara Thomas, Mary Jo Travillian, Cecil Vincent (2,000 hours); Laura Wood (2,500 hours); Bob Harris, Doris Welch (3,000 hours); Ann Harris (5,500 hours); Geneva Webb (7,000 hours); Alice McDuffie (9,000 hours); Florene Kalil, Stella Taw (9,500 hours). Janecia Williams received a patch for 50 hours of service.
