The South of England DTL Championship.... WOW What A Day!!! Not only was the weather fantastic for the 13 squads, its been done again.....another 100/300 has been shot this time by the ever consistent, John Malden, making him £500 better off and earning a place in the Hall of Fame alongside Charlie Martin.... Superb shooting John. John also became the South of England DTL Champion. The other category winners were: Ladies Sharon Morris, Junior Steve Ayshford, Colt Michael Bovingdon and Veteran George Semmens; after a shoot off with Tony Dore. Many congratulations to all the Champions. The Class Winners were: AA 1st Dave Toomer, 2nd Tony Dore A Equal First: William Logan Snr, Jim Inglis and Shane Maynard B 1st George Semmens, 2nd Carl Flower, 3rd Paul Harrison 4th Jerry Ayshford C Equal 1st Bryan Freeman and Michael Bovingdon, 3rd Sharon Morris, 4th Steve Ayshford All in all a brilliant day, lots of fun and laughter, some great banter especially from Peter Wilcox, Ian Hobson and the gang. Was great to see some of our old friends, Tony Dore, Ken Parsons and Mal Grant ... Mal have we converted you to DTL?! A special mention to Charlotte Morris for all her help over the weekend in the kitchen... you are a little star :D Many thanks to the referees and staff, Nigel, Rod, Alan, Bill, Gordon, Jane, Andrew and Hazel for ensuring the shoot ran smoothly and also to the South East Representative, Jonny Johnson, for presenting the awards. The 300 Pot has been replenished with another £500 so whats stopping you, who will make it third time lucky.
