The Southern Pines PD is seeking pubic assistance to identify a person of interest. On Nov. 15, at approximately 3:00 AM, an attempted breaking and entering incident occurred at the Wine Cellar & Tasting Room located at 241 NE Broad Street. The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community identifying the person of interest depicted in the attached photographs. Anyone with information about the identity of the male in these surveillance photographs is asked to contact the Southern Pines Police Department at 910-692-7031 or the Southern Pines Police Department’s Crime Tip line at 910-693-4110. Persons providing information are not required to identify themselves when calling. Anonymous information is welcome and has solved many cases for the SPPD.
