The Spa City Blues Society will hold its annual membership meeting at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, at the Low Key Arts Building, 118 Arbor. The purpose of the meeting is to provide members with an update on the SCBS’ activities through the past year, share information about coming events and initiatives and to elect the board of directors. If you are interested in being a part of the SCBS as an officer, committee member or volunteer please make a note to attend this meeting. There are lots of great opportunities to get involved in all the things your blues society does. In addition to our annual blues festival, weekly blues jams and lobster party, we are working to rejuvenate our scholarship programs, Blues In The Schools and community service activities. The SCBS is striving to create partnerships with other non-profits and community groups. There are lots of opportunities! Please mark Sunday, November 17, on your calendar and try to attend this meeting. There will be light refreshments available during the meeting. I hope to see you there!
