The Spirit behind the Word ‘’It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life’’ - John 6:63 : John 16:7-13 The word of God has a divine force backing it and that is the Spirit of God. The scriptures make us understand that holy men authored the bible as they were moved or inspired by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit is the divine heavenly force behind the word of God. The reason why the word of God is powerful is because it is backed up by the Holy Spirit, who is the custodian of God’s power. When the word is released, the Holy Spirit goes into action. Also, the Holy Spirit is the only authentic interpreter of the word of God. The same way, you need a French man to translate French, you also need the Holy Spirit to interpret the word of God. Also, to understand the word of God, you must be spiritual because you cannot understand spiritual things with the natural human mind. Beloved, you cannot do without the person of the Holy Spirit. As a student of the word of God, the Holy Spirit is your official companion. Jesus Christ told us that He will teach us and lead us into all truth. Attempting to understand the word without the Holy Spirit is an exercise in futility. I encourage you that whenever you want to study the word of God, call on the help of the Holy Spirit to give you understanding. The Holy Spirit is the gateway to the Rhema of the Word of God. You can also engage Him by praying in the Holy Ghost. This helps to charge your spirit man to receive the deep things from God’s word. When the Holy Spirit is involved, you will hear His voice speaking to you through the pages of scripture. I pray that your spirit will receive the deep things in the word of God : Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth today : I decree your access to deeper truths of the word in Jesus Name.
