The Spiritual information that is contained within the Indian culture is so expansive, full and enriching that it becomes quite comical how true to reality it is… everything from interconnectedness, reincarnation and Astral Projection. Of course it has its shadow too; there is much unnecessary superstition, hooplah, ritual but once you see beyond these youll find a breadth of information that largely corresponds to our enigmatic Universe. It never ceases to amaze me the rich information this part of the world provides us with. One of the most popular shows in India at present is a programme called Devon Ke Dev - Mahadev, the life story of Shiva and Adi Shakti (the greatest love story that ever was?) they also air it in the UK with subtitles. Its the only programme I consider watching tv for. I suppose for someone who isnt familiar with Indian culture it might come as a culture shock and bizarre to watch a show about Gods and Goddesses some of whom have several arms, materialise out of thin air, with magical powers, speak about the Spiritual essence of life and so on. But for most indians like me its very normal haha and I love that.
