The Star newspaper made an over stayer in the country an instant celebrity. Ahmed Kanan a Palestinian who committed an offence by overstaying in Malaysia because he could not get visa .Turkey turn him down and he came to Malaysia stayed in KLIA almost 50 days. The Star newspaper covered his story four pages from front page to page four. What is this this newspaper doing is encouraging foreigners to overstay in Malaysian. How disgusting this Star newspaper can be ?Our locals are having more problems like mykart issue nothing has been highlighted by this Star and just for one foreigner four pages has been used looks the newspaper only read by only Palestinian I recon. What a shame to Malaysians? I won’t be surprise, after all this publicity this Ahmed Kanan will receive a mykart instantly. There is no word in English vocabulary to define my disappointment about the Star newspaper.
