In order to obtain Guardianship of my special needs daughter, Before she turns 18 years old next month, I am required to: 1) File 3 petitions with Probate Court. 2) Pay a $150 filing fee 3) Have a court hearing 4) Have a Guardian Ad Litem appointed 5) Have two examiners designated 6) Have visits conducted by both 7) Have reports provided to the court by both 8) Have my daughter served I have never heard of this before; however, I must do what I have to do for my children.
