The Steel N Cash Barrel Race Presented by Maverick Steel is also a qualifier for THE AMERICAN! Weve been receiving a TON of calls from folks wanting to reserve stalls/rvs..........we do not accept reservations ..... your stalls must be reserved and paid for WITH your entries. All of those must be postmarked by the 13th of September. IF you are entering THE AMERICAN you MUST also enter the Open 5D at the Steel N Cash Barrel Race......thus, two different entry forms required...... Entry details for the Steel N Cash Barrel Race can be found on our website: MileHiBarrelHorseAssociation and click on Upcoming events! Or click on the link in the comments below! Note #1: IN THE PAST WE HAVE SOLD OUT ON STALLS AND RVS! Stalls and RVs are assigned on a first entry/paid first served basis. Stalls and RVs can only be reserved/paid for WITH AN ENTRY; we will not assign/hold stalls for those who havent entered the race(s) as well. There are no daily rates available however you are welcome to sell your stall to others on the day you think you may not be using it. Thats up to you.....does not go thru our office. In other words, I would NOT WAIT to enter! Note #2: All three days of the event will start at 9 am. Thus, ride Sessions and Exhibitions will be on Thursday later afternoon and evening this year. They will be sold via email requests that can start Friday September 19th at 7 am MST. Email received prior to that time will be deleted. Keeping the slate clean and fair. Note #3: The Slot Race will be on Friday Night this year at 8 pm. Due to filming, videography, and etc. The American contestants will run all at the same time instead of spread out across the entire Open Draw. We have elected to put them all together in Saturdays draw; at the end. Entry forms for The AMERICAN entries are handled thru Better Barrel Races ... BetterBarrelRaces! They close at 9 pm CST September 13th! Your AMERICAN time will Carry over to the Open! Note #4: Shavings. This year, shavings are not part of the stall price. You will need to indicate how many shavings youd like at your stall and pre-pay for them. We will have the bags in your stall prior to your arrival. ALL stalls are on concrete with rubber mats on top; just like past years. Note #5. Arrival at the facility MAY NOT occur until after 1 pm Thursday September 25th. Please plan accordingly.
