The Stillwater School Board voted unanimously to approve a joint powers agreement with the city of Lake Elmo to establish the Oak-Land Neighborhood Park during the April 24 school board meeting. In the agreement, the district will designate 3.7 acres at the Oak-Land Junior High School to be used as a city park, and by doing so, will allow Lake Elmo to use parkland dedication funds on the project.
