The Strand Theatre - Rockland, Maine had a full house tonight to see one of Texas best, Ray Bensons Asleep at the Wheel. An lively show that had people dancing in the aisles to their signature Get Your Kicks on Route 66, and reaching for their handkerchiefs during the Cindy Walker song, You Dont Know Me. They finished up with a rousing version of Big Balls in Cow Town and a gentle rendition of Roy Rogers Happy Trails to You. These folks havent lost a thing in their 44 years of performing real country music! Thanks for coming to Rockland!
