The Streets of Palm Bay F-L-A 3.08 mi 00:39 12:43 pace Good morning my precious precious peeps!! This morning I told my husband: if youre coming with me...were hitting the Big Boy Streets!!! And so we did! I felt so excited when we turned to run on Emerson...my original plan was to run up to Minton and turn around...BUT OH NO I DIDNT...I crossed Emerson (and turned around to check to see if he did too...still making him run behind me!!!! LOL He did.) and headed down Minton to Palm Bay Road...crying...with joy...the whole time! I stopped at the intersection and turned around to hug him...he said: Youre back!!! Then we ran down Palm Bay Road to Athens and when we got back to Emerson I slowed down and waved him to come up to me and we walked home together! And where I usually would turn OFF my device when I felt the need to walk home (so as not to affect my pace!!!)...I left it on as a reminder that first: I was a little sore from my Thursday run (and I put away the Christmas decorations yesterday!)...second: I wasnt even planning on running until my head wound was completely healed (even though its still NOT...it IS almost!)...AND...lastly: I have to remember that I suffered a traumatic brain injury less than four months ago...its a miracle Im even out there again! My daughter said it best...after my first run New Years day...she said: I just told Nanny (my mom) MOMMYS BACK!!! She said she can see it in my eyes when she asked if I had run that morning...my passion for running had returned!! AMEN to that! And with that...I tell you ALL...Get up and get moving! If I did it...you can too! 1 Chronicles 16:11-12 Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced...
