The Streets of San Francisco, go up and down, the theater of a serial thriller of 70s: The Streets of San Francisco, now a cult, played by Karl Malden and Michael Douglas. The characteristic steep streets of San Francisco depends on its orography: more than 50 hills! Located at the north end of the peninsula, it is part of a larger area called San Francisco Bay. Two bridges: the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge, connect the city with the bay. Alcatraz and Treasure Island are part of the county of San Francisco.The city is multicultural and multiracial, for the particular morphology has opted for a road system in large avenues, rather than roadways, this and other architectural features make it the most European city in America.Cultural, economic and financial center. For its clectic modernist architectures, the financial hub of tall contemporary skyscrapers , Victorian style houses,trams in Milan style, the Italian neighborhood of North Beach, the Spanish quarter (the oldest) of the Mission District, the Castro district center of the gay community and Chinatown,it is definitely a potpourri of languages and cultures.
