The String Orchestra of the Rockies, a Missoula based non-profit, seeks to hire an SOR Coordinator. This salaried, ¼ time position has flexible hours but includes some evening and weekend work. The primary duties of the job include event planning, scheduling and coordinating the annual calendar of responsibilities, duties and deadlines, overseeing the production of programs and other print materials, and acting as a liason between advertisers, donors, guest artists, orchestra and board. The Coordinator is also responsible for budget and ticket management, database maintenance, player contracts, and overseeing the website and social media. The successful candidate will be proficient in Excel, have strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and communication skills and will demonstrate organization and attention to detail. A familiarity with fiscal management & procedures is also desired. This position is available April 1, 2014.
