The Subject of Writing/Sentence Spacing: Do you leave 1 space or 2 spaces after a period (or other concluding mark of punctuation) between 2 sentences? I do a lot of writing and I also edit lots of other peoples writing and I see that many people do the 2-space thing. At the risk of sounding like I wasnt listening in class back in the day, I was taught by the NB public school system to leave 1 space between sentences. I would think that this would be a universal rule in all public schools across America. But apparently its not.
