The Sublime story of The Christmas, is a story of a self-giving love. It is perhaps the greatest story ever told -that God so loved man that he gave him everything, as if that is not enough, he also gave himself . Here comes true the Latin proverb by Laberius; amare et sapere vix deo conceditur- to be in love and be wise at the same time, is scarce granted even to the gods, John 3:16 bore witness of this selfless love, saying ;For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Romans 8; 31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33Who will bring a charge against Gods elect? God is the one who justifies. This self-giving love constrained God to give us everything by giving his own son and by giving his own son he gave his very self to his little creation hitherto known as Man. To deliver that gift of His very self, the invisible God risked eternity and entire existence, humbled and submitted himself as baby to be carried in the womb of a woman. This Self-giving Love even made God to trust the survival of the Godhead and the entire existence which he uphold by his power, in the hand of a Woman. The most powerful God trusted everything in the hand of a weak woman, just because of love. The word of this Latin philosopher is very true! The pedigree of this love immeasurable! If Mary had miscarried the baby Jesus, the entire existence would have crashed and rolled back to nonexistence- Colo 1;16 and 17 16 says ‘’For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together(with all the bondings chemistry told us about). Colo 2;9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.’’ The story Christmas avers that one day the God of man became a man to deliver himself as a Godman`s greatest gift to man. Christmas story of Christ`s birth, is a theological affirmation that the God of Man has himself become a man – Deo hominen es hominen . This is the story about his communicatio idiomaticum. God giving Christ signal his giving all things to us that we may prosper without opposition. Receive your gift of prosperity and abundance! Merry Christmas and New year full of abundance!
