The Summit will be in session tomorrow (Thurs., Jan. 23, 2014) even if there are extremely cold temperatures. Even if Springfield Public Schools close because of cold temperatures, we will still be in session because we do not have students waiting in the freezing temperatures to catch a bus. However, please be mindful of the cold weather and encourage your students to dress their warmest. Your safety is always most important to us and if for any reason you feel it is unsafe to transport your students to school we encourage you to do what you think is best. Remember, In all inclement weather conditions, parents are asked to use their best judgment when choosing to attend or not attend school. Any absences due to inclement weather will be excused.
