The Sun in three great schools of spiritual thought envisioned the Sun as riding in or on a vehicle of some kind. In the case of the Egyptian, it was a boat pulled by fish, that carried the Suns disk across the river of the sky; in the Greek mythology the Sun was Helios/Apollo in a chariot pulled by two horses, and in the Indian school of thought, a chariot pulled by seven horses, the Haritas. Here I see they are represented in the colours of the rainbow; in other places they are said to be all green. I think I like the idea of the rainbow horses best. In Indian mythology the Sun is the father of Shani. Thus aspects in the horoscope from the Sun to Shani invariably result in some sort of alienation, strife between or separation from ones father. The First House in Western geocentric astrology was once connected with the Sun i.e the Zodiac began with the sign of Leo and not Aries. The Sun rules our ambitions for this life thus Saturn in the First house is an aspect typical of men of science: tremendously alienated from ones fellows; time is put to good use in the halls of knowledge, ruled by Saturn. But without the blessing of Hanuman, this knowledge becomes like a sword all blade.
