The Sunny Delight: Black Cherry deck that I posted yesterday has been performing pretty well. Current list looks like this: 2 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx 4 Blood Crypt 3 Godless Shrine 4 Sacred Foundry 4 Temple of Triumph 4 Temple of Silence 4 Plains 2 Mountain 4 Chained to the Rocks 4 Soldier of the Pantheon 4 Precinct Captain 2 Dreadbore 3 Mizzium Mortars 4 Boros Reckoner 1 Spear of Heliod 3 Heliod, God of the Sun 4 Blood Baron of Vizkopa 4 Elspeth, Suns Champion SB: 3 Thoughtseize 2 Pithing Needle 2 Wear/Tear 2 Dreadbore 2 Last Breath 1 Sin Collector 2 Slaughter Games 2 Rakdos Return Slaughter Games has been a house. Hitting Gray Merchant against Mono Black is almost always game over. Its also good against any kind of Esper deck to strip Sphinxs Revelation or Aetherling, making it near impossible for them to win. Had a game today where I was able to strand my opponent with 5 removal spells in hand after Slaughtering an Underworld Connections. Those removal spells certainly killed lots of 2/1 Clerics, but that wasnt quite good enough. Had a match yesterday against Big Boros where Slaughter Games on Stormbreath Dragon pretty much made it impossible for my opponent to deal 20 through my infinite removal. Mono Blue has been the one matchup that I have struggled with. Blood Baron isnt fantastic against them and Master of Waves is a big problem. I also sometimes just lose to a bunch of Mutavault attacks from any deck, since all my removal is sorcery speed. I added 2 Last Breath to the SB basically to solve both the Mutavault and Master of Waves problem. I havent played with them yet, but Im hopeful they will get the job done. Regardless, the deck is pretty sweet.
