The Sydney Kings development team has remained undefeated in their tour of China with an 80–69 win over the Chinese National B team in Chengdu City last night. With their fourth consecutive win in the tournament, the Kings had four players in double figures in another solid all around team performance. Jarrad Weeks continued the form that he has displayed in the Waratah League with 18 points, three assists and two steals. He was well supported with Nick Kay (Tamworth) with 18 points and eight rebounds, Cody Ellis also with 18 points and Nick Duncan just missing a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. The Kings survived a 13 hour bus and plane trip on Saturday before arriving in Chengdu City in the Sichuan Province and welcomed having a day off on Sunday where most of them hit the shops. The Kings play the USA composite team tonight and the German team tomorrow night.
